Born in Houston, Texas, I moved with my parents to Florida at age 12. I attended Florida State University for a year and later joined United States Navy. I inadvertently explored right, wrong, and everything in between during this time. While in the Navy, I was involved in traumatic high speed motor cycle accident. This life-changing event left me in a state of confusion. Strangely drawn to Oregon for many years, I moved to Portland in 2010. Here, I met my wife and finally found my taste of true happiness. As for the lost years, I will forever be haunted. My joys as well as my nightmares fall onto the page in every word I write.
