Acerca del libro
The Subject is composed of three separate collections; Clothed, Bound, Cut & Exposed, Hitting a Wall, and Grotesque, all connected by the photographer as well as an underlying theme. Although they may differ in technique as well as context, they are united by the way in which each can be interpreted as independent from their physical subject. Some of the images are street photography while some are studio work and some mainly revolve around aesthetics while others have a cultural subtext. They all, however, go beyond the person or wall or meat being photographed and speak more about the pictorial harmony between the components. The subject is a tool to visually talk about personal stress and about textures and color. The subject has nothing to do with the subject and everything to do with interpretation.
