Acerca del libro
The Holy and the Profane Sculpture Exhibition by Rogério Timóteo Carmo Archaeological Museum - Lisbon - Portugal. With the exhibition “The Holy and the Profane” Rogério Timóteo creates a new level in his artistic career, venturing in exploring new materials (iron, resin and glass fibre) that allow him to discover others textures, shapes and plasticity – that is to say new words within his own aesthetic language. In a time when we continue to see art’s losing its humanity, the artist chooses once more as the core of his work the human figure, working it from within, through free and simple lines, leaving most of them unfinished and by so inviting the observer to penetrate in those open narratives.
