Cay Fatima over the years made a name for herself as a live performance entertainment photographer. Photographing such notables as Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, BB King, Governor Mario Cuomo, Mayor David Dinkins, President Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Najee, James Taylor, Patti LaBelle, Sting, Chaka Khan, George Benson and Prince. The first multimedia graduate of SUNY-College at Old Westbury, Fatima transferred from Boston University as a psychology and political science major. After graduation, Cay saw the need to include filmmaking and applied to the prestigious film school Institute for New Cinema Artists (INCA) run by the late actor Ossie Davis. Upon graduation, Cay became part of the first female cable installers for Manhattan Cable Television (Time-Warner). "Plants For Peace" is Ms. Fatima's way of exploring the beauty of nature as a visualization tool to achieve a peaceful zen state.
