Forgiveness is for us to give. The fact of the matter is if we don't forgive, God will not forgive us. Why not lighten your load, and take the weight off your back by forgiving. Trust me, I rather finish my journey carrying light weight, then to carry excessive weight, and miss out on God's blessing. When you forgive, you have freed yourself from bondage.
