Secondary Occupants/Animals and Architecture, is a catalog documenting Julian Montague's ongoing art project, Secondary Occupants/Collected and Observed. The project consists of a series of installations, photographs and small mixed-media projects that all consider the relationship between animals and architecture. At the center of the work is an unnamed fictional author/investigator who appears to be obsessed with the way that animals occupy architectural structures. This catalog features many of the works produced for the project between 2008 and 2013. It also includes documentation of the various museum and gallery installtions from the same period.
