Megan Hartfelder earned an MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, as well as a BFA in Painting and B.S. in Art Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She has worked as a K-8 art educator in Darmstadt, Germany and Cincinnati, Ohio. Megan has lived and traveled throughout the U.S., Europe, and South America. These experiences are an inspiration for her art lesson plans and her own artwork. She is currently working as a children's book illustrator.
