From the days of horse-and-buggies and one-room schoolhouses, Charles C. Shumard worked his way through college. Charley earned a masters degree in electrical engineering, and he went on the have an extraordinary career with RCA. Charlie was backstage throughout several technological achievements; from radio to television, and from early computers to the first weather satellite and more. Charlie had fourteen patents to his credit and he was listed in "Who's Who in Engineering."
