On July 21, 2008 five intrepid sailors set sail on the uncharted waters of Vancouver's Coal Harbour. Their names were Alice, Carol, Pat, Lynn, and Larry. Missing were Bill and Dianne, who had fought bravely but perished so the others could escape. After being joined by the sixth member of their little band, Keith, they boarded the MV Harbour Princess and sailed east on Burrard Inlet and then into the dark and mysterious waters of Indian Arm. Along the way they passed Stanley Park and the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. They slipped quietly past the towers of Vancouver high-rises and fancy restaurants on the waterfront. Past million-dollar luxury yachts. Slipping quickly through the rip tide under the Second Narrows bridge, they sailed gallantly by Belcarra and Deep Cove. They feasted on chicken and salmon as they marvelled at the beautiful scenery of the INDIAN ARM LUNCHEON CRUISE!
