Acerca del libro
This collection of poems, memoirs, and short stories by Polly Cole reveals her diverse talent as a writer. All of these pieces were written from 1992 - 2002 when she was in her 80’s. Here you will find poems, both serious and humorous; memoir pieces from her childhood and adult life; and a wide range of short stories, including several from a series she wrote about the very proper Mrs. Maude Amberly and her absent-minded husband Alfred. Between sections of the book are selections from her fifty years of work as and artist and a photographer. All her creative projects show imagination and a keen eye for detail and design.
