Acerca del libro
The first of five books of short stories and poems. The genres are varied.
We have a witches' tale from the early 17th century when the Witchfinder General ran rampant in England. We have the thoughts of bushranger Ned Kelly before his execution. Two teenage lovers find lust expressed in a snake. An Irish mother's illness brings her family relationship into spotlight. These are stories of murder, madness and salvation.

I started writing fiction about 10 years ago. Poetry about two years later. I love the omnipotence which writing allows, the sense of creation, of creating your own world, your characters and environment. Emotion is important, and honesty, and at times a sense of the ridiculous. Humour is an important element whether black humour, irony or obvious humour sometimes to balance tragedy. I find also that writing in the first person reaches into a character's thought processes, it allows the reader to know the character intimately. My writing heroes can be found on my Blogspot.
