It started with a joke. Luc wanted to do a cross-Canada trip by bus with a friend, but wondered if the friend was really committed. He joked that Allison would be his backup travel partner. Over the next three years the joke turned into serious talks of seeing Canada coast to coast.

Finally the dream materialized and a road trip of epic proportions was planned. Three months, ten provinces and two territories; We'd see it all from a pickup truck, stay in National Parks and cook on a propane stove.

This book chronicles the three months of traveling across this vast country through the photos we took along the way. The book is laid out in chronological order with our travels beginning in Waterloo, Ontario, and advancing eastward all the way to Newfoundland. After a lengthy drive straight back to Waterloo, we embarked on an unforgettable canoe trip in Algonquin Park. We then continued west to British Columbia and from the coast, struck northward to Yukon and finally to Northwest Territories.

Throughout this voyage we met many people, saw spectacular sights, and learned more about Canada and ourselves than we could have ever hoped.
