I don’t go looking for photographs. Yet I am attracted to the light, form and gesture as it presents itself. As Charles Harbutt has said - “ I don’t take pictures; pictures take me.” It may have been that particular quote that inspired me as a teenager. Over the years I have found myself in places that were both alien and familiar to me. It is always a stroll between image and reality. In some ways, I am thrilled to share these unique moments with a child-like excitement of “look what I saw!”
