This was a client driven project, wanting to document the four seasons on their island in the UP of Michigan. The photography started the winter of 2011 and wrapped the fall of 2012. I was able to walk to the island that winter on frozen Gaylord Lake, but access for the next three seasons required a kayak and good weather. The book tells a pictorial story of the island, the seasons and of the family.
