Acerca del libro
Here are several photographs taken in the middle of a very busy, sometimes hectic and hurried year that documented a grand 15,000 kilometer odyssey, brought great peace and calm, and gave me a chance to share some of my experiences through the lens of my camera in a book for friends and family.
There are pictures taken at touristy spots (like the cover photo) but taken from a spot off the beaten track, and these are blended with some views that required a short hike or long poke to find... only a few people shots, mostly of kids - mine and some young friends - because I am no Annie Liebovitz! And, Ansel Adams with a digital camera, I am not. I was just lucky to have my camera catch what I saw in my mind's eye.

Acerca del creador
Jack Hill
Southern California
A Special Education Teacher and life long learner with compassion and empathy for my students who struggle with a few of the obstacles I fought through (but they fight many more than I ever did)... I read good novels to them so that they learn that a book can be fun even if it is thick! I was pretty hard on my body as a youth and bear the scars of skiing, ice hockey, football, wrestling, track (throwing events), motorcycle racing, cross-country bicycling, and a few others I had just as soon not recall, so I don't get around as well as I once did, but I can still make an ill-advised attempt at touch football or coaching soccer. Maybe I can add more later...
