Peter Clemons and Marianne Benson. Artists and owners of the Backshore Gallery, RISD graduates, and long time advocates for the preservation of the historic dune shacks and the traditional dune dweller community. The Benson-Clemons family, which includes children Andrew, Elizabeth and Tommy, have summered in a 1920's era dune shack, known as 'The Grail', for nearly four decades.
