Acerca del libro
The imagined clocks in this series play with the idea of how time is reckoned, displayed, conveyed, etc. Those depicted are virtual creations, and not yet actually made into working real clocks--imagined but not imaginary clocks.
Each was conceived so that it could be actually manufactured using fairly accessible existing technology, that is, reduced to practice in the real world.
Each of the clocks is described in detail in terms of both function and how it could be made. One goal would be make an installation where each of the proposed clocks were actually realized--constructed, displayed, and keeping accurate time.
