Cathaleen Curtiss, award winning photojournalist, editor and director of photography.



As a photojournalist I have documented events from Super Bowls to Superpower Summits and covered three presidential administrations. In 1990 I was named, Photographer of the Year by the White House News Photographers Association.



As Vice President of Global Photography at AOL, I built and managed a staff of visual content editors based around the world.



The photos in this book series were taken and edited on my iPhone. I call them "iphonotos". It is my belief, that the best camera is the one you have with you. Vision is more than looking its taking the time to see.



My photojournalism roots are the foundation for creating and sharing. I hope you enjoy them.

This series was created on my journey to recognize and celebrate the important things in my life. My family and shared happiness! A special thanks to Hannah, Ella, Mickey and all my friends who explored with me.
