Photographs taken on Vancouver Island during a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A place to find serenity and peace, to stretch the body to new limits, to be nurtured by the wonderful staff who made me feel welcome and cared for. Coastal Trek was all of these things to me - and more, which was why after my 2 week visit I only hesitated for a few days before deciding I needed to return. And I did, for another 2 weeks. These are just some of the highlights of my 4 weeks at Coastal Trek during July and August 2008.
