Eyes Wide Open is about the way I look at the world. A kind of nature street photography, meet the wild flowers, watch the water.



This book is about you meeting your non human, non animal neighbours. The wild flowers you walk past or step upon, the bubbling stream and playful wave you don't have time to notice, that cloud up there transporting water, that tree over there transpiring water.



I have made them all the same size and bounded them in a narrow view, my aim to get my viewer to make eye contact with their neighbours. Some of these neighbours are giants, some tiny, in these photos all are equal. Enjoy and when you walk just look down beneath your toes and up above your nose and recognise your eco system, enfolding you and supporting you and supplying your needs.
