This book stemmed from a project that I started with fifth grade students at Carthage Middle School, Carthage, MO. I am a substitute teacher that has a passion for writing poetry and a art teaching degree. One day I was at the Middle School and without lesson plans for the day, so we created our own freestyle poetry about various subjects. This book represents the cohesiveness of the students willingness to participate, their ideas and imaginations. I hope that you enjoy!
