I grew up in Southern California and have been a lifelong sportsman. I have fished and hunted around the world. After graduating from Whittier College in 1972, I was employed as a Probation Officer for 30 years. In 2006, I retired as a Division Director of the San Bernardino County Probation Debartment. I have taken 4 safaris to Africa over the years to hunt big game in various countries in Africa. My wife Debbie and I have marlin fished extensively in Mexico, Costa Rica and Hawaii. I have explored fishing up the Rio Negro River and Amazon River in Brazil. We have hunted throughout the western United States and Canada. I have one daughter, Erica who resides in Newport Beach, California. Debbie and I reside in a log cabin on a remote mountain in Northwest Montana. We hunt and fish throughout the backcountry of Montana. We enjoy travelling to tropical locations during the long Montana winter.
