After serving as principal of Lansing Eastern High for the past five years Mrs. Diggs is moving on. While taking on a new challenge at a high school in Columbus, Ohio, she leaves behind a series of thoughts and observations of her time shared at Eastern.



A wonderful collection of stories from the desk of the principal at Eastern High School.

A Member of the Biological Photographer Association (BPA), Bio Communication Association (BCI), Health and Science Communications Association (HESCA) and  National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). Over 30 years of photography experience.  Served as a Media Specialist and Medical Photographer for the Department of Radiology at Michigan State University for 13 years, prior to spending 12 years at Ohio State University-College of Veterinary Medicine and Department of Hematology. Gearl is currently employed with OhioHealth Systems Radiology Department at Grant Medical Center in Columbus Ohio, he is also a freelance photojournalist in his spare time. A life member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
