Nina was born in the winter of 1964 in Stockholm and spent the first three years of her life in Rome, Italy. Often people ask Nina how she paints and where the ideas come from. The answer is always the same: "I don't have any ideas. I just start with a color that attracts me at that moment, spread it around on the canvas until shapes and forms appear. I am totally absorbed in what I am creating and do not rest before the painting is ready. When I look at the final result, it's like I see myself - as if I become one with the painting and then there is peace." In particular, children like Nina's paintings very much.. Some are exhibited in the Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital in Stockholm.
