Everyone looks forwards to Christmas, be it the presents, the parties and drinks with friends, the sumptuous food with guilt ridden desserts , or just a chance to catch up with relatives, relax and unwind . I personally like the Christmas lights, from the bold as brass and sometimes disappointing city lights to the more local yokel village lights that have a more antiquated feel. Even the local kebab shop has a go with its offerings somehow dwarfed by the more boisterous yet less seasonal neon signs.

In this book I've focused on our very own festive creations, it includes some of the rather grander gestures to the more humble with there religious undertones. Some are funny some a little sad but one thing is for sure they all can brighten up a wintery walk home from work.
