Montana State University, B.A. Erika is a travel photographer, writer and educator born and raised in the frozen tundra of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her guiding experiences started on the white waters of Colorado as a river guide, and over the winters as a ski instructor at Moonlight Basin, Montana. Blending her love of photography and guiding, Erika began leading photography workshops in 2009 for Canon Photography in the Parks program through North America’s most iconic National Parks including Yosemite, Yellowstone, Acadia and The Grand Canyon. She has also taught for New York Institute of Photography as well as Chicago Photo Safaris. During college, Erika studied abroad in Perugia, Italy followed by a year living in Taiwan to teach English and study Chinese. Erika is now based out of Bogotá, Colombia where she works as a media producer and contributing writer/photographer for The City Paper, Bogotá’s English newspaper.
