Sometimes when we witness the hard things in the today's world of Occupy Movement, people tend to see the negative side of the protest. I was motivated by a handful, I was pushed by a photo teacher in my contemporary photography class, and I was supported by many; this was when I had to open up my eyes and tell myself to document history in the making at Downtown Los Angeles. Documenting the Humanity side of this protest, not the negativity.



We. Are. The. 99%! Has truly motivated me to become a documenter / photojournalism photographer. I am not used to these kind of photographs, so it was a big step as is for me to witness the history at Los Angeles.



The title of the book was influenced by my girlfriend, which I deeply appreciate and beyond thankful for, it's a bittersweet truth behind it. This Occupation Will Not Be Televised... now the fun part is, since this is Part I of the book series, other parties will be documented different cities when I can find the funds for it. Only time will tell for when that can happen.



Do hope you enjoy the book, I had taken well over 1,000 images in the last month, so it's been a handful of challenges to pick out which photos made it to the cut.
