Acerca del libro
Every city has its own version of the Great Divide. Highways and railroads cut through modern cities, dividing them into separate districts and zones; acting as impenetrable walls to the inhabitants of the city. The spaces contained within and surrounding the divide are often thought to be undesirable and are left behind as life in the city continues on around them.
But what if this divide could be re-imagined? What if the spaces once labeled “derelict” and “terrain vague” could be re-organized and re-born into positive spaces that add to the overall value of the city?
