Poetry.
Roger Turner's poetry has been published in more than 100 magazines, such as The Interpreter’s House, South, Poetry Nottingham, Other Poetry, Israel Voices, Iota, Staple, Envoi, Candelabrum and Weyfarers.

U.A.Fanthorpe said of his poetry: 'Turner is that not-often-found thing, a master of the sentence. His are like Hopkins' weeds, 'long, lovely and lush'. He is currently chairman of his local poetry society.

Roger Turner worked as an architect and a garden designer, and has designed gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show, and at the Garden Festival in South Wales.

He is the author of five non-fiction books, on landscape history and garden design and plants.
