This book is the conclusion, or at least second incarnation of a project by the same name as the book.



The project was a single image made of buttons, which viewers were able to take, but I asked for a written memory of an object that is important to them as a form of exchange. The kinds of responses very greatly. Some were reacting to the button which they took, others were just a couple of worlds which would mean nothing to anyone but the viewer, others were long descriptions so that anyone reading would have some understanding of why they selected the object.



This book is all the notes which I received while the project was on display. It is only the text, with no visual reference to first project.
