Retold mainly in pictures, this book is a chronicle of our numerous trips to Greece.

I first fell in love with Greece back in 1983 when I flew out to Mykonos to be at my sister Susie’s wedding.

Returning twenty three years later, for my third visit to the island, I was pleased to discover that it was more or less just how I’d remembered it all those years ago.

This above all, is what we love about Greece. Even though it has long been one of Europe’s top holiday destinations, for the most part it has refrained from commercialisation and kept its strong sense of culture, tradition and customs.

The various places featured in the book are all unique in their own way. From the greenery of Kefalonia with its towering mountains, to the incredible monasteries at Meteora, to the sun baked islands of Santorini and Mykonos with their dazzling white washed houses.

As well as capturing as many memories as possible of all the places we've visited in Greece, I’ve also tried to encompass as much of the individual features and characteristics of those different locations.
