In a world where we are bombarded with strident political rhetoric, high decibel music, and loud, chaotic advertising slogans, 100 Whispers presents relief and a new way to combine our strange diversity into a singular experience.



This installation consists of 100 singing bowls and 100 individual voices collected throughout our diverse population, speaking one word: “whisper.” Each voice is transmitted through a hammered bowl that has been re-purposed as an audio device.
