Acerca del libro
Reflections have fascinated people since long, long before the mirrors that we take for granted were invented. The ancient Greek myth of Narcissus, for example, the story of a beautiful young man who became so enamored of his reflection in the water that he drowned trying to reach it, gives us an indication of how long the history of our fascination with reflections is. This book contains photos of reflections on bodies of water from small puddles to lakes and rivers, on buildings with reflective surfaces and on some less obvious reflective surfaces.

I think of myself as an elderly child of the digital revolution in photography. While I always enjoyed taking travel photos with my succession of little point and shoot 35mm cameras, I didn't become really serious about photography until after I acquired my first digital camera some 20 years ago. My favourite subjects are the places, people and objects I encounter on my travels, but I also very much enjoy photographing the birds, small animals, people and architecture of my own city, Toronto.
