Hello, my name is Hsien Loong Lim. I'm a 33 year old Malaysian and this is my first attempt at making a 'photobook'. I decided to call this book 'Some Sort of Symmetry' because as I was selecting the photographs I noticed that there was indeed some sort of symmetry whether in the form of the photographs themselves or that a certain 'symmetry of meaning' would manifest when two or more pictures were placed together.



Ultimately I think these photographs are nothing more than the result of my experiments with photographic form, on ongoing monologue, if you will, that may or may not have allusions to deeper meaning. I hope the photographs have lived up to the title or better yet, that the title lives up to, and helps provide context for, the photographs.
