To fulfil my desire to closely experience the ancient lifestyle of Moroccans, I chose Fes, as the oldest 'living' city in the world. I rented a Dar right in the heart of Fes el-Jdid, the Medina or walled part of the city. From there I tried to live day to day as the Fassis do. This book is my visual diary of my time there.
