This was a project for my photo 11 class at Pierce College. Here are the different assignments for this semester



Self Portrait - I had a hard time with the

first assignment do to it was supposed

to be a picture of my self. I always have

trouble taking pictures of my self so as

you can see I missed this assignment.



Atmosphere - This assignment was meant

to capture a mood through the picture.



Urban Landscape - This assignment was to

capture an urban environment. The thing

that was mostly photographed in this

assignment was wall murals and graffiti.



Diptych / Triptych - The images must work

together as a set or two or three. This

can be either a story or just something

that may work together.



Emulate - In this assignment our goal was

to copy a picture or style of a famous

photographer. I chose Richard Avedon

because he capture movement with his

models. The models were not still or

posing, Avedon involved it's

surrounding in his pictures. Another

famous photographer used by a lot of

the students was Ansel Adams.



Black & White - We needed to capture

good black & white photos and not just

colored pictures turned into black and

white.



Lighting - Using different types of light to

capture a great photo.



Profile - You are assigned with the task of

shooting a “profile” of a person or

group of people who will be

interviewed for the magazine.
