Uff Da is the exclamation used by Scandinavians when something isn't just right, or something really is right...an expression of surprise, delight or sorrow. You decide if this book is an Uff Da!

The writings of this book have been taken from my experiences growing up Utah and working with young people, and some not so young people. Some of the stories are stupid, funny, unbelievable, and idiotic. No matter what the stories are, I hope the reader obtains a sense of the thinking and events as they occurred.

Uff Da was written for my family, children and my descendants. I hope when they pick up the book, they will smile, laugh and maybe even read it. I realize that it is the kind of book that once put down, you might not want to pick up again. That too is an Uff Da!

I hope my interest in my Danish heritage, and it's culture is evident, and the sanctimonious references to the beliefs of the people of Utah are not offensive.
