Stan studied Biology as an undergraduate but switched to art and design following graduation. He attended Pratt Institute and received an MFA. He freelanced for many years, and his work was seen in numerous publications. After selling his images to corporate clients and adding to their collections, he switched gears again and used his photographic and creative skills as a graphic designer. He is the owner of Creative Design Studio in Bayville, NY. Stan’s work is a melding of his science and art backgrounds. He is an award winning photographer/designer/teacher who is fascinated by the patterns and colors in nature and captures the beauty of ordinary objects in extraordinary light. His photography is an attempt to express the most beautiful and powerful qualities of light. His painterly photographs have been used for illustrations, editorial pieces, exhibitions and decoration.
