This books is a documentation of the international art exhibition EUtopia - Artistic Visions Of Europe, a cooperation of CULTUREINSIDE.COM and the Cultural Center Neumünster Abbey in Luxembourg in the context of the Euroepan Year 2010 for combating poverty and social exclusion.



50 works-of-art in diverse media were chosen by an international curatorial committee in competition, as part of an artist’s call. The dual theme was the name “EUtopia” with all the varied associations that it might engender, and the context of “poverty and social exclusion” in Europe. The frisson between these oppositional poles has allowed artists to create works of fantasy, surrealism, social commentary, abstraction and other artistic forms. ...

CI is a quality-oriented network in the interest of artists. The special requirements of the visual arts have not been addressed until now. Artists need several levels of communication and exhibition interface to properly show their work and connect with other artists. This worldwide group is international in spirit and has a strong impetus to connect. CULTUREINSIDE simply gives real visibility to artists online, in virtual and brick & mortar exhibitions and via documentation.
