Acerca del libro
From the '4ward' -
"if the question is 'why poetry?' the short answer is because poetry suits my limited attention span. but it's more than that.
these poems tell the story of ordinary moments that occasionally contain every moment. when this occurs, it is an experience of pure presence, often only 1 inch long, but a mile deep.
these gems r rare but worth seeking. as u read, i hope u find a few."

Acerca del creador
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Wayne Westfall broke his neck in a climbing accident in Alaska in 1979 and has been a quadriplegic since. While being paralyzed from the neck down, his was what he calls 'a break of fortune' - a C5-C6 Spinal Cord Injury - which allows him to flex his wrists, hold a fork, a paintbrush and pen, and to type. From early on, after his injury, writing played an important role in helping him come to terms with his redefined identity. 10 years after his injury he took up watercolour painting and happily pursued that until he discovered a new voice through pen and ink line drawing. Wayne's line drawings uniquely capture the essence of people and environments he finds himself in the company of. All of the drawings and paintings in this book were done by Wayne. This is his first book. Also visit Wayne's blog at http://wheelchairwisdom.wordpress.com
