Having grown up watching how her two sisters struggled to make it in music industry, as solo artistes, she wanted to show viewers of this book that it is not as clear cut as most people may think. Getting up onstage and performing to an audience in their local Workingmen's Club is just a fraction of the amount of work that people actually get to see for themselves, but it's the hard work that's been put in prior to a gig that usually goes unnoticed and unappreciated.



Helen Saxon is A self employed lively, young, fun vocal freelance entertainer who work’s on the North East Club land Circuit.

Helen's performances cater for all ages, with a song list that includes music from the 1960's to the present day- With a variety of Big Ballads, Country Music, Hip Hop and Show Tunes. The songs she sings are Cover versions of hits from Kelly Clarkson, Journey, Connie Francis, Dolly Parton, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Meatloaf, Whitney Houston, Razorlight, Avril Lavigne, Fats Domino and Johnny Otis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley and The Comets, The Beatles and Blondie as well as many others.
