Photography was an early passion, at first fascinated by the equipment but eventually discovering I liked the photographs I took. Feeling that I knew what made a good image, I began looking to capture unique and exiting photos. My friends probably thought it was a bit unusual to spend my free time in a darkroom and to carry a camera with me to school - but I did not mind because I was in my element. I did post graduate study at the Rochester Institute of Technology, worked at a portrait studio and had a short career as a camera salesman. I've attended workshops and studied with noted artists including David Muench, Alain Briot, Michael Grecco, Kerrick James, Steve Johnson and Oliver Klink. I have received numerous awards and honorable mention in juried competitions. My photographs have been displayed at the Palm Beach Photographic Center and the Boca Raton Museum of Art.
