Born in Kansas and raised in Texas, where I remain. I have been a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a designer, an animal shelter director, an artist, a friend. I believe that I will have failed in life if I don't leave this world better for my having been here. I am grateful every day for this life and its challenges.
