Rachel McNaughton lives near Wetherby, Yorkshire and is well known for her paintings of flowers. Painting has always been a passion and has grown from a fascinating hobby to a full time career. Just before Christmas this year Rachel will be holding her 7th exhibition of paintings in Wetherby Town Hall. This time sharing with potter Jenny Smith. Come along on Dec 3rd and 4th for pottery, paintings, prints, cards and gifts. Although flowers are possibly her favourite subject she also enjoys landscape painting both in this country and abroad. She works mainly in watercolour but also uses pastel. Rachel has taught watercolours to adults for over 20 years and runs several classes each week and day workshops during the summer. She has made two instructional DVDs on watercolour painting.
