Acerca del creador
At the age of 14, Ross Wagner convinced his grandmother to buy the camera he had been dreaming of. Shortly thereafter, he won two first place prizes in Scholastic Magazine’s photography competition. He went on to join the photography staff of the Cornell Daily Sun, Ithaca, New York; work as an assistant to the Paris Vogue photographer, Arik Nepo; capture stories and images for Ski and Skiing Magazines. He then set his cameras aside for a period of time to start a business and help parent his two daughters. In 1990 he resumed photography and in 1998 founded the Unique Vision Workshop at the Watchung Arts Center in Watchung NJ. Here beginners and professional photographers alike find common cause excavating deep visual resonance with the world. In much of his private work Ross records nature—from the silent rock and sand of the southwest to timeless patterns of sky, water and native flora and fauna.
