In 2002 McCarty Memorial Christian Church was placed on the National Register of Historical Places, and a grant was given from "Preserve L.A." However, when several members of the McCarty family visited in April 2010, we learned that the stained glass windows have been somewhat neglected and are in need of repair. There are approximately 50 windows; all but two of them were dedicated to members of the McCarty family, as it existed in the 1930's, when the church was built. This little book is meant to serve as a visual aid to our efforts at fund-raising. The price is a suggestion only. Any excess over the cost of production (approximately $25) will be automatically sent to the church and is tax-deductible to the donor.
