In August of 2009, my life changed forever. I found a lump in my breast while getting ready for bed. It wasn't until after my mastectomy that I found out I had Triple Negative Breast Cancer. To help me deal with the severity of the situation and related anxieties, I turned to writing and art. Thus, my book was born. It actually started with a blog that I converted to a book. Friends, family, and loved ones loved knowing more about the diagnosis and my journey through the treatment and recovery. All responses I recieved were that they loved the information, pictures showing my journey, and the reflections on my emotions each step of the way. My only hope for this book is to let others know that there is hope. Also, a portion of my proceeds go to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation.
