Acerca del libro
kingdoms rose and fell, empires expanded
and disappeared, and borders were
repeatedly redrawn across the Armenian
Highlands.
Yet the Armenian people endured.
Through a collection of historical maps,
illustrations, and personal stories Beyond
Borders traces the journey of a people
whose identity survived far beyond the
boundaries of any kingdom or state.
As borders shifted and empires vanished,
language, faith, culture, memory and family
carried the Armenian story forward.
Ultimately, this is not a book about maps.
It is a book about people, survival, and
legacy.
