The September 2026 edition of Aspiring Authors Magazine, Vol. 9 is a powerful tribute to legacy, purpose, authorship, community, creativity, advocacy, faith, and history. This special edition honors the life and lasting impact of Elmeria Forbes under the heartfelt theme, “Honoring a Legacy: Gone But Never Forgotten.” Through stories, reflections, spotlights, and curated sections, this issue celebrates the voices that continue to inspire, heal, educate, advocate, and build bridges across generations.

This edition is more than a magazine — it is a memorial of influence, a platform for purpose, and a celebration of those who use their gifts to make a difference. Each page is designed to uplift readers, amplify meaningful voices, and remind authors, leaders, creatives, and community servants that legacy is not only what we leave behind, but also what we activate in others while we are here.

The Community Section, featuring Apostle Dr. Kimberly Thomas and Minister Charlotte Simon-Rowson, highlights stories, resources, advocacy, healing, and inspirational voices from those serving on the front lines of purpose. This section honors individuals and leaders who are committed to strengthening communities, restoring hope, and creating meaningful change.

The Poetry Section, curated by Kisha J, offers a powerful collection of poetic expression, spoken truth, healing words, and creative reflections. These poems give language to emotion, faith, grief, joy, resilience, and transformation, reminding readers that words have the power to comfort, awaken, and set hearts free.
