Structure and Belonging: Under the Texas Sky is a photographic memoir about displacement, attention, and learning to see.

After relocating from New York City to Dallas–Fort Worth, Michael Galluccio struggled to find his footing in a landscape of massive intersections, endless construction sites, glass towers, and restless skies. Made entirely with an iPhone—often instinctively, from the hip, or through a windshield—the photographs trace his gradual shift from measuring Texas against the home he left behind to recognizing a humbler beauty in the ordinary rhythms of his new surroundings.

Moving between New York origins and Texas arrivals, the book lingers over infrastructure, architecture, weather, reflection, and light. Together, the images reveal more than a new place: they record a change within the person behind the camera and the realization that belonging may come not from finding the right place, but from learning to see where you already are.
